On bidding, the linked official auction materials say: after application evaluation and price-bid opening, the highest tender value becomes the upset price for live bidding; the public site schedule does not state the later bid increment or closing time. Across these 95 sites, upset prices run from ₹16,03,000 to ₹98,75,63,000. Published site area spans 494 to 2,72,403 square feet. The upset price is the minimum amount the linked official auction materials set; it is not evidence of a final or accepted price. The second number is the application money (EMD). It is ₹2,40,500–₹14,81,34,500 per site, as printed. The corrected list totals ₹78,81,21,500, while the reattached original and portal total ₹78,39,71,000; these aggregates are not an individual bidder’s payment. Read the tender application for the payment route, exemptions, refund timing and forfeiture terms before paying. The public six-page site schedule does not set out those terms. These two are not the whole cost: a bidder also budgets for GST where applicable, separately from the price.

Why did the Coimbatore EMD totals differ?
TNHB’s original 25 August list prices CHU 148, Veerakeralam, at ₹30,74,000 with ₹4,61,100 application money. Its corrected 16 September list changes that row to ₹3,07,44,000 and ₹46,11,600. Notification 262, posted 18 September, reattaches the original August file; it is not a newly revised price list. No notice establishes that the 16 September correction was withdrawn. We retain the corrected amounts and show the original figures here. The original 95 EMDs total ₹78,39,71,000, matching TN Tenders; the corrected total is ₹78,81,21,500. The ₹41,50,500 difference is entirely CHU 148. The corrected file is no longer available at TNHB’s original link. Confirm CHU 148’s payable amount with TNHB before submitting; a tender-wide aggregate is not the amount for one site.

Does the extension give a new auction date?
TNHB’s 23 September letter extends applications to 9 October. The public tender record specifies 11:00 AM IST for closing and 11:05 AM IST for bid opening. Neither the letter nor that record supplies a revised live-auction date. The old tentative 29 September auction cannot be treated as the current timetable after applications have moved to October.
