When does tender opening happen, and is that the auction?
TNHB’s notice says submitted bids will be opened on 5 October at 11:00 AM. TN Tenders gives 2:00 PM instead. Ask TNHB to confirm the time. The later live auction is provisionally planned from 2:00 PM, after TNHB checks the applications and opens the price bids. No closing time is given. Both sources say applications close on 30 September at 11:00 AM.
The notice’s 42 EMD amounts add up to ₹35,98,61,550, while TN Tenders shows ₹37,47,02,550. We have not confirmed why they differ. Each site’s EMD in the notice is exactly 15% of its upset price. These totals cover all 42 sites. They are not the amount to pay for one site. Ask TNHB to confirm the amount and payment steps for your chosen site before paying.

From the official documents
The Hosur Housing Unit lists sites in 17 schemes, including Hosur, Denkanikottai, Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri. The sale includes schools, health centres, a library and other public-use sites as well as commercial sites. Check the allowed use of the site you choose.
TNHB rejects applications without the required application money (EMD). A digital signature certificate (DSC), used to sign documents online, is required.
For an individual applicant, TN Tenders requires PAN, Aadhaar, proof of home address, a signed application, income-tax returns for the past three years and a price-bid form (BOQ).
TN Tenders lists the tender fee as ₹0. It marks EMD exemptions as allowed and an electronic bank guarantee (eBG) as required. Confirm with TNHB which requirements apply to you.

We checked the notice and tender website on 9 September. The notice is unchanged from the copy we found on 8 September. The website publication date does not mark a new sale: applications had already opened on 31 August.
We added the figures for all 42 sites: 7,45,643 sq ft, ₹2,39,90,77,000 in upset prices and ₹35,98,61,550 in application money. These are our calculations; the notice does not print combined totals.
We could not read the separate application terms or price-bid form. We have not confirmed the correct payment steps for an individual site or resolved the different opening times and total EMD amounts.
We copied the site codes and map links as printed. Five codes say HOS without a number; two are blank. We have not visited the sites or checked their locations, plans, ownership or whether they are sold or leased.

The page explains where the notice and tender website give different opening times and total EMD amounts. This is our first page about the existing sale; TNHB has not announced a new auction or a correction through these documents.
