Choose a category and check the application conditions
Compare the advertised stock, rate, registration fee and initial deposit. The total price of a selected site requires its confirmed area and KHB’s demand.
Who can apply, and what must the affidavit declare?
The notice requires at least ten years’ ordinary residence in Karnataka before applying, with a notarised affidavit about prior authority allotments to the applicant, spouse and minor children. The linked application affidavit additionally declares that the applicant and family currently live in a rented home, that neither the applicant, spouse nor minor children own or possess a site, house or flat in Karnataka’s urban areas or municipalities, and that neither the applicant nor spouse has received a house or site from KHB or another Karnataka authority. Read every declaration and obtain KHB’s clarification if you cannot make it.
Income and supporting documents
EWSAnnual family income must not exceed ₹2,00,000 for urban applicants or ₹1,20,000 for rural applicants. Upload a current certificate from the competent Tahsildar. The notice explains that the EWS rate includes a 50% concession; do not deduct another 50% from ₹450per sq ft.
LIG, MIG and HIG-IThe notice prints no income limits for these three categories. The application asks for annual income; confirm the applicable classification with KHB before payment.
Application documentsThe form asks for PAN, Aadhaar, residence years, income and nominee details, plus applicant photo, non-allotment affidavit and passbook front page. Supply accurate bank details for a refund if no site is allotted.
Notice page 2 clauses 3–5 and 10; application reservation field
KHB offers the sites by outright-sale allotment through e-lottery under rule 9 of its 1983 Allotment Regulations. Clause 5 describes pooling without reservation-category segregation, while the application still collects a reservation category. Confirm how the draw and any claimed reservation apply to the selected site category. The notice does not publish individual site numbers, a draw date, a selection guarantee or a balance-payment timetable.
Notice page 2 clauses 2 and 8; application payment terms
The registration fee is non-refundable. If an allottee requests cancellation or fails to pay within the prescribed period, clause 8 provides for cancellation and forfeiture of 25% of the initial deposit. That is not 25% of the site price. The form makes online-payment service charges non-refundable and routes eligible refunds to the bank account supplied. The notice gives no fixed refund date or complete balance-payment timetable; obtain those details before committing.
Notice pages 1–2; official Kalawadi application and allotment-page row
Ask KHB for the site schedule and approved Kalawadi layout showing the individual number, dimensions, area, road access and services, then confirm the total price, additional charges, balance-payment dates and possession terms. The inspected notice gives category counts and rates only; the application offers the same four categories without a public individual-site list. The approved-plan column on KHB’s allotment page is blank. Clause 9 allows the advertised count to change. KHB’s institutional enquiry number is 080-22273511, extensions 307/309.
Does the Mandya–Vijayapura lottery notice apply here?
Separate Mandya–Vijayapura lottery circular dated 31 October 2026
No. The separate 31 October circular concerns people who applied under the August notices for Halalu–Irubanahalli sites in Mandya and housing projects in Vijayapura. It schedules eligible lists and a 19 November draw for those existing applicants. It neither opens fresh applications for those projects nor sets Kalawadi’s lottery date.
