It now publishes The Tribune’s report — ₹3.81 crore from two Sector 63 flats, with the other twelve properties drawing no bid at all — attributed to that paper and cross-checked against the reserve prices on this page, every one of which the report matches. GeM still publishes no result of its own.
Bidding closed 1 Sep, 20½ hours after the scheduled close
The revised terms scheduled the close for 31 Aug at 4:00 PM IST and allowed unlimited extensions, so the scheduled close was never the known one. In our 2 Sep, 7:59 PM check, GeM’s public Forward Auction search listed auction 38042 under Closed with an auction end of 1 Sep 2026, 12:30 PM IST, and served an Auction Result page carrying no winning bidder, bid price or acceptance row. That end is about 20½ hours after the scheduled close, and GeM prints “Auto Extension: Applicable” and “Auto Extension Mode: Unlimited” beside it. The same GeM record reproduced all 14 dwellings, their covered areas and their reserve prices unchanged, so this record was preserved as concluded. The reported result was added the following day, from the press.
CHB added viewing slots before the deposit deadline
CHB added more viewing slots before the deposit deadline. Its 14 August office order (No. SE-II/CHB/2026/3035079) staffed the temporary CHB office on 14, 17–21 and 24 August, 2–5 PM, and on Saturday 22 August, 10 AM–5 PM. Those slots covered most of the previously unslotted 13–24 August period, but not 13, 15, 16 or 23 August — including the Saturday of 15 August. Viewing has now closed. Nothing else changed: same 14 homes, same reserve prices and deposits, deposits closed 24 August, bidding runs 25–31 August.
EMD and bidding deadlines extended; bid increment raised
At our 12 Aug 2026, 6:17:51 PM IST check, CHB had added the Corrigendum and replaced the terms for GeM Auction 38042. The Corrigendum extends the EMD deadline from 12 Aug at 5:00 PM to 24 Aug at 5:00 PM and moves bidding from 14–24 Aug to 25 Aug at 9:00 AM through 31 Aug at 4:00 PM. The revised terms raise the minimum bid increment from ₹5,000 to ₹50,000 and direct bidders to check the CHB website for inspection dates. The unchanged public notice says inspections run every Saturday until EMD payment closes; the latest linked office order, No. SE-II/CHB/2026/3011163 dated 5 Aug, lists 2:00–5:00 PM slots on 6–7 and 10–12 Aug plus 10:00 AM–5:00 PM on Saturday 8 Aug, with site-office contacts for all four property groups, and publishes no slot for the extended 13–24 Aug period. We compared the current documents with their predecessors: the 14 dwellings, reserves, property-specific EMDs and payment terms are unchanged.
