After that, the monthly amount is due by the 10th in advance without demand; late payment carries ₹1,000, then ₹2,000, then ₹3,000 for a third month, and non-payment for three continuous months terminates the licence — the arrears and penalty come out of the security and the balance of the security is forfeited. Any other breach also lets the Corporation end the licence, with no compensation.
Trading hours are 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM only. Only disposable utensils may be used and no washing of utensils is allowed on site; waste disposal is the licensee’s responsibility. A single 5 kg cylinder is allowed, and only for heating pre-cooked food. The licensee must obtain the required licences from the Food Health Authority and any other department, arrange fire-safety measures and fire extinguishers in consultation with the Fire Officer, and keep the kiosk and its surroundings hygienic — fines for insanitation follow the Municipal Solid Waste Management Bye-law, 2018.
Its own electrical connection and the electricity and statutory charges on it, plus GST, property tax and service charges. No subletting, assignment, parting with possession, power of attorney or partnership after allotment. No addition, alteration or defacement, no sub-dividing or amalgamating the kiosk, and the area in front stays a public passage or sitting area. To leave early, three months’ written notice, failing which three months’ amount is deducted from the security. Damage must be made good within seven days or it comes out of the security.
